Dr. Janak Preet Kaur

Holding a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on renewable energy, Dr. Janak is a Principal Sustainability Consultant at Aubrens, bringing nearly a decade of technical advisory experience to the forefront of corporate climate strategy. She specialises in translating complex environmental challenges into robust operational frameworks, helping organisations across Asia convert ambitious ESG targets into credible disclosure, decisive decarbonisation, and enduring commercial value.

To date, Dr. Janak has spearheaded more than 40 high-impact projects spanning financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, utilities, environmental services, and agriculture. Her core expertise encompasses greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, materiality and double materiality assessments, climate risk evaluation, and corporate governance design. She possesses a distinct ability to decode rapidly evolving global reporting requirements, converting intricate standards into practical, executable methodologies for executive leadership.

As a member of the Strategic Council for the ACES Institute, Dr. Janak serves as a vital bridge between rigorous scientific research and commercial application. She collaborates with leadership teams across the region to elevate ESG adoption, advising on actionable climate solutions, sustainability roadmap development, and the assembly of high-performing advisory teams dedicated to driving regional climate resilience.
