Luis Bueno Nieto serves as a member of the ACES Council, where he lends his extensive global commercial experience to shape the strategic direction, initiatives, and regional impact of the ACES Institute. Concurrently, he serves as the Vice President of MORS Group, bringing senior executive oversight and leadership to the group's broader corporate ecosystem. Professionally, Luis is a highly accomplished international retail executive serving as the Commercial Director and Board Member of Castorama France. Over a distinguished 15-year career within the multinational Adeo Group, he has led large-scale business transformations, scaled global retail concepts like Naterial, and managed complex market expansions. Notably, from 2013 onward, he resided in Moscow to spearhead the direction of new strategic markets for Leroy Merlin Russia. Prior to his work in Russia, he served as the Ambassador of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Leroy Merlin Spain starting in 2008, where he collaborated with the Spanish Ministry of Education to integrate university students into the corporate sector and develop their business leadership skills. With a career spanning over 20 years, Luis has held numerous director and executive positions across diverse industries and multiple countries. His earlier leadership background includes serving as CEO of Ecologistics, an energy efficiency services company based in London, and working as the Director of Talent Development for a financial firm in New York. Deeply committed to sustainable corporate models and ESG governance, Luis also serves as a long-standing jury panel member and former Summit Chairperson for the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES Awards). As an entrepreneur and thought leader, he has delivered keynotes on management and leadership development for global corporations over the last decade, driven by a passion for team motivation. He holds an Executive MBA in Digital Transformation from Emeritus University, co-founded the CAB Art Foundation, and is fully trilingual in English, Spanish, and French.
